Catherine Williams

Catherine joined HBF as Planning Director in July 2025. Catherine is responsible for planning related activities at a national level, advocating for member interests with Government and national stakeholders.  She leads a team of regional planning managers who represent member interests in Local Plan consultations and examinations. 

Catherine has worked as a planner for over 15 years, with experience in the private and public sectors, and advising on major planning applications and planning promotion. 

Previously, she held a position as Regional Planning Director at Bellway Homes.

Prior to joining Bellway in 2022, Catherine spent a decade at Savills, where, as a Director within the planning team, she worked closely with the home building industry.
