
Craige Burden
Planning Manager, Barratt Redrow
Craige Burden is a Chartered Architect and Town Planner with over 20 years’ experience spanning both consultancy and housebuilding. He has delivered a broad portfolio of residential development projects across England, working on sites of varying scale and complexity. His expertise covers the full development lifecycle, from securing site allocations through to planning applications and appeals, including projects within sensitive and highly regulated areas such as the South Downs National Park. He joined Barratt Redrow in 2022 where he currently serves as Group Land and Planning Manager, having previously worked at the Southern Counties Division.
Alongside his role at Barratt Redrow, Craige is actively engaged in the wider planning community. He is Vice Chair of the Surrey Development Forum and a member of the RTPI General Assembly, helping to shape industry dialogue and maintain strong sector connections. His combined experience and industry involvement enable him to offer a well-rounded, commercially aware perspective on planning, placemaking and the delivery of sustainable development.
