Mike Knott

Mike is Stantec’s Regional Lead for the Midlands and South including overviewing the Town Planning teams in the Reading and Birmingham offices. Having started his career in local government and joining the private sector in 2007, Mike specialises in strategic land promotion and has extensive experience of supporting clients in securing allocations including land released from the Green Belt, major outline planning permissions and in coordinating detailed approvals, including as an expert witness at appeal. A skilful problem solver and negotiator, Mike enjoys working with technical and design specialists to optimise and secure high quality outcomes on projects. Alongside project work and playing a lead role with key client relationships, Mike has also been central to chairing roundtable events and speaking at client briefings and conferences.
